Standoff sounds like Blood Gulch, which was always enjoyable.
But the choice... 800 MS points in December or wait till spring and get them for free before the next lot.

 

As much as I love a good Big Team Battle, I might just have to wait until the maps are free. Lord knows I have enough other games that are just waiting to be played...

 

I normally wait for the map packs to be free, but I bet the first time I can't play a game because I don't have the map loaded and I'll end up buying it.

I don't want to pay for it, but that map what is made for Forge has me thinking twice...

I don't get a 360 till Xmas, so no downloads til afterwards.

Hopefully, it'll make it to a Disc state to be purchased or ordered. Like the last one.

I wouldn't pay 10 bucks for 4 Gears maps, no way i'm paying 10 bucks for 3 Halo maps.

 

If I have to DL them for Matchmaking, I will.

But I just got Assassin's Creed, so I'll want to get to Commander before I jump into that.

 

True. I guess I'll bite. Still I will feel the sting. Maps don't sound to great either. Only one I am intrested in is Rat's Nest.

By the time the next map pack comes in spring 2008... this game will cost me over $90.

 

That's reason enough to carry on playing Assassins Creed.

 

I'll probably bite, don't want to be having trouble playing by not having the maps.
