I like the detail on them but I refuse to call them action figures. They are my Halo "statue" figures. I'm getting that Buck figure. I liked ODST. Heck my back up Gamertag is Prilosec ODST.
Imma guess thats Parangosky talking, seems Locke is still working with ONI if it is.... did that grunt just say Spoiler The Arbiters dead!
It's good to see Buck getting a figure, but I was really hopin they would also get a Linda figure out in the second wave of figures. I want to get John, Fred, and Kelly, but I also don't want to have to resort to making my own Linda because of McFarlane's BS. Oh, and that's definitely not Romeo. It's just a randome Spartan-IV, like the Athlon figures. Buck is the only returning character from H3:ODST. Also, there is a dedicated thread to Halo toy discussion...
That's what he said alright. But the dialogue between the Spartans suggests otherwise. And I don't think 343 would be THAT stupid.
And what if they did? If they could make the death as essential to the story and as impactful as what happened at the end of 4, then that's just good storytelling.
No it wouldn't. There wasn't anything impactful about Halo 4's ending, especially when everybody knows Cortana's gonna come back somehow. And killing off the Arbiter would be one hell of a middle finger, considering he wasn't even in 4 and would only be brought back just to die. Plus, it'd mean he'd have to die wearing that ridiculous outfit. Then again, I wouldn't put it past 343 to treat Arbs like a generic Elite, given that they kept giving him generic Elite grunts and growls in Halo2A. (even though they already had Keith David back)
...It's a bloody Grunt mates, how many times in Halo have Grunts said something like "You're dead!"? Many. And we're still not dead. To that Grunt, with Covenant forces converging on the Arbiter's position, he might think the Arbiter is as good as dead. However, there's no doubt that the Arbiter survives past this point. This gameplay takes place before the Battle of Sunaion, which the Arbiter is present for.

From what this thread on the Halo forums said, it counts. EDIT: Found the original article in question: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/community/blog-posts/halo-5-guardians-building-an-epic-campaign
