I saw it when I went to see Grindhouse. Looks ok, but I've never been into the Halloween saga. Among the other trailers I saw, Room 1408 had a good trailer. Not too sure how the actual movie will be but the trailer was good.

Wow that looks really good. Im actually surprised as I was never really into Zombie's stuff. Now why can't someone do this with Kreuger?

Seems harder to pull off with Kreuger. I think the approach that seems to be taken with Zombie's movie seems to be the best possible way to go with it.

Looks good. I still need to see the original Halloween, only seen a couple of the later ones.

I love Rob Zombie's movie's. House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects were two of the most hysterical movie's I've ever seen. I couldn't stop laughing.

Plus his wife (Baby in the previous mentioned flicks) is freaking HOT.

You shouldn't remake Halloween 1, just make pointless sequels. The first one was always the best. I hear they're gonna ruin another Carpenter classic by remaking Escape From New York soon.

Well, the thing is...I think H2O already pulled that off. That movie seemed weak and pointless. I admit, I didn't bother seeing it, but...Michael Myers on a Reality Show seemed like a horrible movie concept. Still, whatever you think of Rob's moviemaking abilities, the original won't change because of his remake.

Halloween parts one and two were brilliant. III (Season of the Witch) I like for it's sheer random wierdness. Four through Six..I gotta give 'em credit...they knew they weren't going to be making great movies, but the sense of continuity that they brought those last few really worked for me. Every horror franchise ends up handing us sequels that don't even come close to living up to the original, at least the Halloween movies did it with...something of a plotline.

Rob Zombie is a guy I just can't not like. He just..always seems to know what I want to see or hear. I think, given how his other movies are stylistic throwbacks to good seventies horror, that this will work nicely.

Also, more Rob Zombie movies mean more movies with his absurdly hot wife in them. That can't be a bad thing.

Because he's somehow made it impossible for you to watch or buy the originals?

Well honestly, I'm psyched. I actually dig the halloween series, and wished they had kept with the original thought of releasing one a year every halloween.

So sign me up for it.. if it's bad, well I guess I always have the originals..

And I'm informed by my horror fanatic hubby that it's released on his birthday, I have no choice, the tickets to see it are my gift to him. lol

That was actually the one after H20 that had the reality show and yes taht was terrible. If you're ever able to get a hold of the Directors cut of H6, it is by far a better movie, pretty much a diffrent one altogether but a lot more cohesive, but I agree, this is one of the more pointless remakes, I dont care if its good or not there was really no need for it. I gotta say I think House of 1000 corpses and Devils Rejects were just awful, they just seemed to go on forever with no plot and the villians were pretty weak if you ask me but hopefully this won't suck terrible ass.

An unnecessary movie but it should be interesting. I would have preferred Halloween 9 (8? 10?) over Halloween 1.2
