Oh yeah, I'm pumped. CN is starting to show all the Halloween specials and I'm loving it.

for those of you who are watching them like me what's been your favorite so far? Mine has to be the old Scooby-Doo one where they go down to New Orleans and attacked by cat people or something. Point is I loved when I was a kid and I love it now. I think it's called "Scooby-Doo in Zombie island" or something like that.

    AMC FTW!

I also like the one where they help get a book for some guy and then some witch comes back from the dead.

Scooby Doo on Zombie Island, and yes, it's one of the best they've done.

Scooby Doo on Zombie Island? Yes, I've seen it. Not bad, for being one of the newer Scooby Doo films they've made in recent years. Though I prefer the older, more classic Scooby Doo shows and movies over the newer ones.

Growing up, I used to have a VHS tape full of recorded Halloween specials, until I accidentally taped over it when taping an episode of the classic Star Trek for my older brother. On it was Raggedy Ann and Andy: The Pumpkin Who Couldn't Smile, Halloween Is Grinch Night, a live action one I believe is called The Halloween That Almost Never Was, and then there was a cartoon one about a witch who turns two kids and their babysitter into monsters for Halloween (had a theme song that went something within the lines of "Halloween / Witch magic / Halloween").

I'm a sucker for Halloween specials, particularly It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, but lately I've been drawn to various documentaries on the subject. Such as The History of Halloween, on The History Channel and the various shows on the scariest haunted houses or attractions in the country on The Travel Channel. However, nothing compares to good old scary movies.

It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown?

God, I love watching that. Got that on DVD. Every October, I try and watch it as many times as I can. I just can never get enough of Snoopy fighting the Red Baron.

Yea, I also love the Charlie Brown Halloween special as well. Also like to watch the random horror movies I have never heard of. The latest being Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Awesome movie.

But of course nothing can beat watching a Halloween marathon at 2 in the morning. As long as it's not the Season of the Witch, I will sit through all of them. Nothing is better than Michael Myers, IMO.

I have to agree that it is the greatest Halloween special. Not the greatest halloween movie, but by far the best special.

It's not exactly a Halloween special, but I think the Doctor Who episodes Blink and The Shakespeare Code work fine.

    Hells yes.
