Who else is pumped for this movie? The first one was really amazing. Rob Zombie has proved to be a very good director. Anyone else plan to go see it, or have any thoughts?

Saw it years ago it and the original are two of my favorite horror movies. Oh wait you mean the unnecessary new one. I could care less.

I'm a big Rob Zombie/ White Zombie fan, so hell yeah. Plus I love the original films.

I liked the first one, so I'll probably go see it. Amazing considering i hated every single one of the previous Halloween movies. And it can't be a Rob Zombie thing because I cant stand House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects. And Im not a very big fan of his music either.

    In short, yeah Im pumped.

I liked his first Halloween movie enough to want to see the new one. I liked some of what he did, especially with the backstory, but once Michael returned to Haddonfield it was just a complete rehash of the original, but without any of Carpenter's directorial skill. Those kids were so incredibly annoying, I was rooting for Michael to kill them all!

The original Halloween is one of my favorite movies of all time and nothing can come close to it.

The remake would have been better if it wasn't supposed to be Halloween.

I've no intentions of seeing the second. Hell, from what I've heard he goes maskless for a good portion of it (though that was a time ago that I heard that).

Wait... Rob Zombie's making a sequel to the remake? He killed off Loomis, I don't see what else he could do. (Laurie was pathetic)

Loomis isn't dead and according to an interview with Zombie that I read, he's kind of the antagonist of the film.

I just wish Rob Zombie would stop making franchise films, reform White Zombie and make a sequel to fucking Astrocreep: 2000

May I see this interview... because crushing one's skull in before letting their body fall to the ground seems like they've been killed to me.

You don't need an interview, there's ads for the movie with Loomis in them. When does anyone in a horror movie really die? Retconning someone's death is pretty common.

Count me in. Zombie is a great rock singer and writer, but he can't direct his way out of a paper bag, all his movies are alike and boring, this one looks like his worst yet. Michael Meyers with no mask and no theme music, how is this Halloween again exactly?

Zombie should just stick with music and leave movies to the other many hackless talents out there making pieces of crap that pass for movies nowadays.

In the Unrated Director's Cut, Loomis survived. At one point, in his somewhat incapacitated state, he tried to slow down Michael so Laurie could escape.
