News Post: Hailee Steinfeld To Perform Songs For Bumblebee: The Movie?
Shit im scared as hell XD
She's actually pretty good.
This is my favorite song by Hailee:
Very interesting. Lots of great music from the 80's that they could cover. Bee singing would be cute.
You are right she is good! Im just scared having a musical in a transformer movie haha! Good thing Michael Bay isnt doing it ......
A good rock song can fix anything.
Please, for the love of Primus.....
NO BARTON BELLAS
Well, the soundtracks have gotten bare for big songs included in recent films with fewer inclusions than the first films. Perhaps Ms. Steinfeld can turn that around.
I hope she does. She’s very talented as an actress and an artist. The more we hear about this movie the more excited I get. Seems like a totally different transformers movie than we’re used to and that’s a good thing imo.
Steinfeld not Seinfeld.
Bring on the 80s goodness. Can't wait
Stan Bush, answer the call!!!!!! Dare Duet!
Considering he talks through soundbites, a "lip sync" song type scene doesn't seem out of the question entirely.
Which her character could duet with him maybe. But I'm really not sure on that overall. Would have to fit the narrative and character personas for what they are doing, but otherwise, whatever fits within the director's vision and doesn't break the time frame or character personas, sure why not.
Though more fun would be an 80s pop number for the end credits, to then let her also have some material for a music video where they'll have more freedom and less character restrictions.
*Edit* Could definitely see it as he tends to talk in song as not having as wide a vocal library to use for his soundbites as yet due to earth technology limitations of the 80s. (No internet, no XM radio, no full movie catalogue soundbite access. So potentially limited to actual music from the radio he's collected over the years.) So possibly a scene where she's singing to something he's trying to tell her to hide that her car is talking to her?
I'll wager $50 on..........a pop-ish, bastardized version of Styx's 'Mr. Roboto'.
She’ll be the Stan Bush of this generation. Hopefully it won’t be cringe cheesy songs
this is so riding the line
let's hope for 80s in a good way
