Hmm..looks like we'll have some great action scenes
I like that she says he has a good heart, makes me think we are really going to get some awesome characterization of the Bee man without fighting. I am all for more robot interaction in general, cool little snip, she seems into it, all a very good sign!
She doesn't really know how to express herself that well but I like her. Also I hope this movie is a bit better than I expect right now.
You all know my stance on the films, but given we had Anthony Hopkins praise The Last Failure and we all know what a dismal failure that critical and financial disaster was, actors shilling the films they're in when it comes to Transformers is not trustworthy in the slightest.
I am curious how different the Action Scenes will look?
not convincing me at all.
ofcourse she will say that stuff, she's the main actress...
sure it has a different director and a smaller budget, but aslong as that lorenzo guy is involved,it will be a no for me.
like burnout said,we must all remember hopkins words. comparing bay to scorsese and all that c'mon...
ive been burned too many times by how 'good' the next transformers movie will be! tlk looked amazing
In Anthony Hopkins defence he was talking about the special effects and stunt work, which he praised and had a lot of fun with. He even went on to say he didn't think the story made much sense but it was fun to make.
As for this new film, what makes this film different from the rest is that the director himself has pretty good films under his belt and has proven to be able to balance both the visual and narrative well.
Just asking but why do you care about burnouts comment are you letting him make your decison
Also if you were a main star in the movie and you were saying that type of stuff people will believe the same
I just want to know... What exactly is the worst we can expect from the movie?
Is it the similarity to the 2007 movie? Because Iron Man and Ant Man both share similar plot elements and still stand on their own.
Or are we afraid that this studio directed?
I'm not being negative but sometimes I'm confused.
Except none of those films were live action, were they?
The worst that can be expected is what amounts to a lower budget version of TF5. Only with less robots, no knight theming (though honestly that's a plus in my book), and even more focus on the shittacular human characters.
Not to mention the stakes are the highest they've ever been for a TF film, because even if BB does just okay, it's NOT going to right this sinking ship. Bumblebee has to wow audiences and I legit do not believe that is possible since its biggest WOW factor is the CGI...which has taken a huge hit from the budget cuts and I doubt Knight is as good as making CGI go the distance as say, Blokamp.
Lower budget TF5? You mean Cybertron is going to go to Earth again? It's the end of the world? What?
Honestly TLK had so many robots that it was a con in my book. Do you remember that Scrapper clone? That Jetfire clone? What was the point on that?
We'll have to see what human characters are like if they're not directed by Bay.
The best we can say at this point, "It will at least be different than what we are used to."
But is Knight a more capable story teller?
I hate to say this... But I did not like his latest effort in Chappie. After District 9, I felt Blomkamp's directorial efforts went on a downward spiral.
I was speaking more of a massive clusterfuck of disjointed story telling, bad camerawork (the ever changing camera ratios), and failure to deliver on pretty much anything plot wise (Prime was evil...for five minutes. Absolutely nothing from AoE was developed. Dinobots were a JOKE. Marky Mark had an entire scene about how much sex he isn't getting. No reason why Megatron is back as delivered by the film itself).
Oh thank God, somebody else who thought Chappie was shit! But yeah, regarding Blomkamp the only good thing he does these days is some top notch low-budget CGI that looks super good. Ever since District 9 everything he's made is just bad.
M'kay.... That's fair.
As of now, none of these problems have happened yet for Bumblebee. I mean, is this movie going to combine two scripts again? Is there like a story that was written with Bumblebee on WWII? This movie feels too small-scaled to deliver the same massive clusterbleep that TLK is.
As long as Lorenzo di Benaventura is involved with the films, nothing is impossible. Especially given he is the one who said that he combined scripts for The Last Failure after the Writer's Room was finished up.
If we're lucky, Travis Knight will give us a better story than we've seen in TF movies so far.
You know that can happen if you go Into this movie literally with no expectations
The worst? Probably cringey moments between Bee and Hailee, shitty fight scenes, and too much drama
