Hi everyone, Had a thought.......I wonder how the barrel is attached? If it is attached with a standard screw, and can be removed........well let's just say that I've inquired if the barrel can be shipped separately from the figure. I'm waiting to hear from the place I ordered from and will update here when I find out more. If at all possible I would love to have this figure the way it was meant to be. Take care, -Gregg
It an interesting idea but it is highly unlikely stores will go through that trouble. If each customer requested that, it will take them forever to do so. They are in the business to make money and time is money. Furthermore, as a collector, I wouldn't want my MP to be disassembled and shipped. If anything goes wrong, stores can claim "you told me to do so, thus no warranty". Not to mention potential paint chips and potential cracks in manipulating the screws and so on... just my $0.02
The orange cap doesn't seem that big of deal...just paint it to match the rest of Megs like we did with the classics version...
Copied from Ages 3 and UP forums: (Spencer is the Site's Admin) The Megatron figures we will be shipping into the states also will not have the orange cap on them. I bring over all mail personally and ship from a US address so these don't leave my hands until they are shipped by UPS. I don't think there is anything to fear with these. Hope that helps. Spencer.
Some may argue that even with the barrel detached, it could still pass for a real gun at a distance.........
I myself wouldnt mind just a Robot mode MPC Megs. Make him super-posable and well articulated. I dont need a p-38 that would only fit in Andre the Giants hands.
Everyone can chip in and pay for my plane ticket and i'll bring you all back 1 unmoddifed MP-05 at cost.
The only problem is that they have none for to buy from. Spencer said he'd have some by last week but there is still none...
