this is what i had planned from the moment i heard this excellent fig was being released. i plan on replacing the head w/ a BT jazz head and similar treatment for the hands. i used a reprolabels BT Jazz set, acrylics and clear coated for protection. i love it! Zedzdead

That's almost enough to make this Jazz fan cry! Personally, I'd just paint the head and call it quits. Question though... is it really 2 tone silver, or is that just the camera flash playing around on the finish?

Nice! I was wondering how the BT reprolabels would look on this guy. They look perfect.

Those decals really come out nice against the existing silver finish.

thanks everyone, and yes that is a 2 tone silver finish to give it more flavor in alt mode. it just happens to look good in robot mode as well. he's about to get a new shoulder cannon mounted on his right side, and im trying to figure out how i should go about doing the fists. how in the world do you disassemble the friggin head?!

i use elmer's acrylic paint markers (walmart crafts section), sharpies markers (for window/headlight tint), and whatever decals i have at my disposal. after i get everything detailed, i let it sit for a while then run a q-tip dipped in Future floor polish (walmart cleaning and floor aisle) over the section in even swipes. here's a very effective tip. sharpie has a wide variety of different colors available. get a set. they are very handy when doing window colors or just about anywhere you want to detail. but the key is sealing it in Future, that way it will never rub off. here's an old custom alt jazz i did a while back using the same sticker set. man the pontiac solstice makes the RX~8 look like shit! and another of my custom alt camshaft w/ dark blue window tinting.

I dig your Sharpie tint technique. And you just sold at least one more set of label for ReproLabels. ;)

i sent a pic of my HA Jazz to Aaron over @ reprolabels showing him that the set was compatible. all they would need to do is re cut the lines. to anyone who does order one for this figure, simply request them to re cut this sheet (he wont), but if enough reqs are made, i'm sure they will. and even make the background color for the door stickers silver to match the plastic. the power is in the consumers hands. go make those reqs, and tell them it's because you saw my jazz!! word of mouth is a great motivation to make things happen.
