    Thanks guys!

Zildjian's hands (I added a link in the first post, don't know if he's still making them) are hollow inside. I thought I'd need a big elaborate Lego system, but when I cut away the pinkie to give him three fingers, I realized it could just slide on.
I cut off the bottom/wrist of the hand and hollowed out as much as I could. I then put in a little bit of Apoxie Sculpt around the inner sides.
Next I took a couple small, flat pieces of soft plastic I cut off a Gundam kit's parts tree and put one on each side. Then I slid it on Barricade's window, working it in to fit.
After that I pulled it back off to let it dry overnight, and I removed the excess AS from Barricade so it wouldn't dry on him.

It took a bit of trial and error. It stays on pretty well. When I give him a weapon, I'll have to take off the hand to put on the Mech Tech adapter. I figure if it becomes an issue, I'll try using one of those small packing rubber bands that comes with TFs to help keep it secure...

Looks good! U did a very good job modding the OP hand to work for Barricade! Now just needs some of your paint details!

Thanks! I actually did fully paint it black. I think the pic just has some shine from the camera's flash. Unfortunately we had to throw out the lamp I was using before for taking pics. I spent maybe a half hour trying to find another well lit spot in my house, but eventually just gave up...

    New Shapeways hands

After seeing and using some of Fakebusker's Shapeway hands, I decided I wanted to replace the last one I made for Barricade with a better one. I wanted to give him two hands that could hold Mech Tech weapons. I used the palm and thumb from the evil leader Sentinel Prime hands and fingers from the leader DotM dread hands.
Big thanks to Fakebusker for answering my questions as I was planning this!!! And huge thanks to Longhaul Creations for giving me the idea!!!!!!!!!!!!

I first planned to attach them permanently, but there wasn't going to be enough room in car mode to allow that. Instead I decided to make them removable accessories. I added thin pegs to the bases of them and drilled holes into the wrists of Barricade. All the pics here were taken after I drilled the holes and, as can be seen, Barricade still can use his original hand and saw and still transform.

The hands can be stored in the seats in car mode without being easily seen, but I'll probably opt to put them in my accessory box when I'm not using them. I may also later add some more parts to make them sturdier...

    Improved stability

I decided to do this over the last couple of days. The ball joint wrists are really nice and tight, but the hands kept flopping over where they pegged into the arms when Barricade was holding weapons...
I looked through my parts boxes and hound a couple corners. I lined everything up and hand drilled a hole in each one. I then put the peg through the hole and glued the piece to the hand base. Hopefully the pics better demonstrate what I did than my words do... :)
