Guys, I've recently injured myself and have a couple of weeks of medical leave so I have time to play some PS3 games. I prefer beat them ups and action platform. Games that I have are:

    i) MGS4 (completed)
    ii) Ninja Gaiden (completed)
    iii) DMC4 (in progress)
    iv) Gundam Dynasty Warriors (completed)
    v) Hulk (completed)

I prefer my games not as intense as Ninja Gaiden (most frustrating and fun game at the same time) nor to have puzzles like DMC4 (some stages I got stuck).

I'm thinking of the following games:

    i) Ratchet and Clank
    ii) Conan

Are the above 2 worth checking out? :)

    Uncharted.

Don't wait. Just go. Now. GO. GO!

Ratchet can wait. Uncharted is a must. GO!!!!!!

Since I haven't picked up Uncharted yet, I have to say Ratchet.
I'm having a whole lotta fun with it just now.

I saw you play the demo.
Looked like Gears of War with the cover system.

If you got a soft spot for more retro style of shooters and you got an internet access and thus access to PS Store, I'd recommend Stardust HD and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. Those are fun and quick play and doesn't cost much.

Heavenly Sword. May be short, but good story and nice action.

I have to concur with the "Uncharted" fanbase here. GET IT NOW.

Other option: Lego Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Can't go wrong with the Lego games for good platforming fun.
