Looks cool. I have never seen the show or the movie but I can appreciate the complexity of that Lego build.

The outside is impressive enough, but the fact he's included an authentic interior and made it in scale to the people is absolutely amazing.

It seems like there is at least one custom lego build a week that makes it's way around the net, but this one is probably the best I've seen. I have to wonder though, when you get to this level of skill, why not just make a model? Maybe that would require skills the creator doesn't have? I know that's part of Lego's charm. It's something anyone with the money for the bricks and imagination can do. But still, seems like you should go to the next level at this point.

Just got back from a trip to Legoland...

This really should be on display there.

No that's not it. Lego has a very specific aesthetic, look and feel to it that is completely different than putting models together. And actually, that level of Lego skill is far harder than putting a model together.

That's impressive! WHere do these MOC builders find so many of the pieces? Buying sets would be incredibly expensive.

Not harder than scratch building a model, which I think is what he meant.

I build lots of Legos and I build lots of models. Believe me, models take more skill and it's not even a close contest.

I was talking about building a model from scratch, not a pre-designed kit. Don't think I'm not impressed with this though. This thing is stunning. It's just like looking at an etch-a-scetch artist. Your jaw's on the floor, but at the same time you think, why not just paint?

That is awesome. Not just building it, but building it an including a proper interior.

I don't know what a Serenity is, but I know what I like. This is wicked.

The interior and scale is incredible. Moving that thing must suck.
