So I'm in Spanish today and the girl who sits next to me is coming to sit down and says "Do you like comic book superheroes?" (I was wearing a Civil War shirt) So I of course said "Yes I do". Then out of now where she gets notebook and it has Marvel characters all over it and she says "I love them, I'm like a little boy when it comes to superheroes". So of course the first thing I think is "She's probably making fun of me" but no she gets into this serious conversation about comics with me which leads to X-men. Then another girl (a friend of mine who I knew liked comics) joins us in this conversation and then another girl joins in. Then I am have 4 serious conversations about comic books with 3 girls and it's just crazy Girl A- Do you have the Arkham Asylum yet? Me- Not yet but I played it and loved it. Girl B- Did you you like X-men Origins? Me- No i hated it Girl C- Why didn't you like it? Me- *insert nerd rage* Girl A- What was your favorite comic movie then? Me- TDK Girl C- I hated it. Unison- You hated it? only it sounded like "Do you have did you the Arkham AsyX-men Originslum yet?" and I was all like wah. etc. That was the weirdest thing in the world. And the weirdest thing is that they were serious because how the hell else would they know who Union Jack is. In before cool story bro
So is this like the first time a girl talked to you or something? I am not sure why you are posting this. Of course girls like comics too. Have you ever seen any of the comic communities on LJ? or the slash fiction for comics? Or go to deviant art? Can you imagine there are girls all over the world that like comics :O Ever gone into a comic book store? Although most girls are in the Manga sections. Just like search things like ShatterStar and Rictor or Midnighter and Apollo. You'll find some girls lol. Do not search these things while in class. Actually search Superboy and Robin on dA, you'll probably find more girls that way.
Get em to buy you some, then you know you're in there. Say something like, "If you see Issue X, pick me up a copy." It'll give you an excuse to further things...
Comes with the title No actually it's not, if you read what I wrote I said that one of them was my friend. Thus implying that I have indeed talked to a girl before. ILD,while I'm sure we all know that there are comic-reading women,it's hardly common. I've been in comic stores MANY times in my life,and I don't think I've EVER seen a girl in there without a husband/boyfriend dragging them. It's guys in their 30s and 40s arguing with each other and treating anyone whose clothes are freshly laundered with disdain. Megatronkicksass,I like how even though you had a shot with a chick,you had to risk it by going into nerdrage over Wolverine.
2 things you don't fuck with 1. Phoenix 2. Deadpool And the X-men films fucked with both. And she actually thought it was interesting. So now I'm bringing in a repro of the Phoenix for her to read.
