First off, hi to everyone ! I just joined TFW a couple of days back, and have been spending time looking at all the collections here. Just awesome ! I collected transformers starting about 10 years back and had amassed a sizeable collection. Then, kids came, priorities changed, and I sold everything... yes... everything. Well, at least they paid for most of the baby stuff ! Now that I have a bit more free time this year, I started to slowly pick up the habit again. Here is a pic I took recently of my new toy shelf, showing my small but growing group of TF classics/generations figures. I recently started collecting the TF Cyberverse line too - "Mini Jetwing" Optimus shown below kicked off my adoration for the line. Will add more pics when I can. The SF2 figures I picked up in the last few months too. If I'm not supposed to post them, I will black them out - just let me know. (was just part of the same pic)
That's quite nice, actually My poor classics are boxed up to make room for my G1 display, but I am anxiously awaiting the opportunity to make a setup for them in the near future... And where's the background from? Is that something that could be printed?
Welcome! I love the Ark backround and your setup is very clean, loving the Perfect Effect figs. VERY nice SF collection!
Thanks for all the kind comments ! The background I got off some video screenshot of the ark, i then "stretched" it for the panorama view. It can be printed ... if I can locate the files (changed PCs recently too...), I will try to upload them too.
Very nice. Like the ark. There's also a download somewhere for a papercraft teletran-1. Google should find it for you if you were interested.
I just uploaded the Ark background, for those who wanted it. See the attachments in the first post. The left side of the background is much "nicer" as it was untouched, the right half was my doing...hence the painted look...it looks good from afar though. Just scale it up before you print it to suit the "size" of your collection. The size I used was two A3 landscape sheets. Also added some more pics.
Looks like I'm not the only one that loves the Ark background. It really adds a lot to the collection.
very cool, and I would love a copy of that background you have for your classics figures dude. That's pretty neat Edit: of course, if I were paying attention to the fact that you had an attachments of it right there in your first post,
