I guess a simple, but dumb answer would be, the show would be over too quick. :D

I am just going to take a moment to enjoy the thing we haven't discussed nearly enough from the finale. IdIok finally getting his death. It was pretty damn satisfying.

Yup, THAT was the best part from the last episode. And seeing Nobliss killed off by Ride (while taking a dump) mafia style was just priceless :)

Not familliar with Igloo. Is it any good? Box art looks like it is CGI.

It's completely CGI, somewhere within late PS2 quality. Storywise, it's not bad, but it's mostly repetitive, as each episode goes through the same routines:

    1. Zeon team is assigned a failed prototype with a completely expendable pilot.
    2. Prototype goes into battle, where it both succeeds and fails at the cost of its pilot.

Otherwise, it's decent filler in the UC timeline.

That's kind of why I love Japan so much, they do stuff that we consider kind of corny here but its seems alright when they do....like Pineapple-peno_O .

Farewell to the life sized replica of the father of all gundams, hello overblown replica of the most over hyped Gundam of the last decade...

I'll take that over the most overhyped Gundam of all time (Freedom). And I'd take either of those over the second most overhyped Gundam of all time (EW Wing Zero Custom).

But it's cool to hate Unicorn because things with exposure are bad.

Finally finished ZZ, it was pretty good. Some things were a little confusing/not shown very well though.
Leina should definitely be dead. Only explanation I have here is that her and Elpeo Plu decided that Judau would be better off thinking that she was dead, and Sayla just happened to be there. She didn't really need to be alive either, she didn't affect the story in anyway by coming back other than an excuse for Sayla to show up and mention Char. Doesn't make much sense, but it's all that I've got. Why did Ple-Two die? I really don't get that one. I didn't even realise that she had died until I looked it up afterwards. The Ple clones, uh, didn't do very much. I'm pretty sure they didn't even show Chara destroying 10 Qubeleys.

Aside from Mobile Suit security (I.E, a lock) not being invented in the UC yet, it was enjoyable. Start was horrible however, but once they got away from Shangri-La it picked up.

I think Char's Counter attack is where I go next, then all the other 1 year war stuff.

Watched Chars Counterattack and Thunderbolt the past few days. Counterattack was pretty decent, nice seeing all the UC stuff done in the pre digital animation style with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Thunderbolt though...Oh boy, that was easily one of the best entries in the Gundam franchise to date. The animation was incredible! Couldn't help but think to myself whilst watching, "thank God they don't use CGI for the mechs in Gundam."

Yeah, I really hate all CGI mobile suits. Especally when it's just too fucking fast and cluttered. Origin looks fucking awful to me. The only time CGI looks good is for spaceships and the few times the Unicorn was CGI, mostly for it's transformation. But they deliberately tried to make it blend with the animation.

The CGI in Unicorn really bugged me. They didn't really use any up until about episode 5, and then the Full Armour Uniocorn was mostly CGI in episode 7. It just didn't look right most of the time. With that said, from what I've seen the CGI in the Origin looks better than pretty much any other CGI in anime.

But yeah, Thunderbolt. Holy shit. Just found out it's available in 4K as well...

??? Almost every time Unicorn transformed was CGI. There were even a few non-transformation scenes of the Unicorn in CGI. (like when it fought the Kshatriya for the last time)

Though I agree, once it got the FA upgrade, I guess for consistency it was mostly CG. Oddly enough, only once the FA Unicorn went into its more difficult to animate destroy mode did it appear less in CGI.
