I'm just curious here if anyone else here has watched Gundam, and if so which ones have you watched?
I've watched Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Gundam 00, and part of Gundam Wing.

See 08th MS Team. The most realistic robot warfare in the series and a story ripped from Shakespeare.

I always fucking loved the Gundam designs but I could never get into any of the series.

Gundam 00 is the only one that I watched from start to finish and honeslty even that lost me after season 1.

Mobile Fighter G Gundam and SD Gundam Force are the only Gundam shows I've watched during the Toonami days. I managed to watch the first sixteen episodes of the former just recently and planning to watch more of it as well as start up on the latter at some point in the future. I have yet to check out other Gundam titles like Gundam Wing, Gundam 00, Gundam Seed, Gundam Build Fighters, and several others including the original series that started it all. Though I do hear that a lot of them are pretty good.

I'm mainly into the original UC timeline. 00 and Wing are okay too.

I've only seen the original, Wing and 00.

00 is my favorite, and i must say the original holds up quite well.

In my opinion 00 is probably the best Gundam series that they've made so far, and if you can get passed the reused footage in Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny those are pretty damn good too.

I've only seen the original, Wing, and 00.

00 was fantastic, the original was good for a show from 1979, and Wing was crap.

The animation in 00 was pretty damn well done, and as for Wing being crap, I really can't have a say since I never seen that much of it.

Indeed it was. The only thing I'm not super fond of with 00 is the way the movie ended, and only because you're not told what happened to 90% of the characters.

As for Wing, good. It isn't worth your time, in my opinion.

    Lesee...

    Wing (not bad)
SEED (alright, although the movie trilogy could've been a bit better if it wasn't for the shoddy editing)
SEED Destiny (decent but crap, gave up around episode 16. Love the Zeon-esque mobile suit tributes though)
Char's Counterattack (damn awesome, I wholeheartedly suggest it)
00 (a hell lot better than SEED which I liked)

g_c is going to blow a fuse if he ever sees this thread.

Also, just out of experience, most Gundam show talk usually just ends up being taken back to the Gundam thread in the toyark, since the show and the models are closely related. Except, ironically, Gundam Build Fighters, which is as close to one of those card game animes as Gundam will get.

I've only ever watched G Gundam to completion, loved it. I've considered getting around to one of the other series once my viewing queue has more open spaces.

Gundam is a series on the peripheral of my spheres of interest. I've seen a bit of the original and think it's a great premise. I played a bunch of the PS2 games and almost adore them. But it seems that every series since then has been god awful.

Wing was new when I was in High School so I actually have a number of those figures because Gundam's are AWESOME LOOKING but I didn't really get to watch the show. Not long ago I tried to actually sit down and watch it but the first episode really didn't do anything positive for me.

If they took the original premise and "Classics"d it (ie updated it for the modern era) then I think I'd be all over it. But perhaps I'm just an old fogey and G1'er.

If you can get past the extremely dated animation, the original MSGundam is a fun watch
Char's Counterattack is goddamn amazing, a great cap to the long saga of the OYW and Amuro/Char
0083 is ehhhhh, it starts out pretty good but the mecha design gets reeeeally goofy towards the end
0080 will break your heart, such a beautiful, tragic story
08th team is fantastic, incredible action, great character development and a great side story to the OYW
Wing is quite good if you can stand all the pretty boys and its sequel Endless Waltz is pretty fun, has some fasinatingly bizarre redesigns of the series mecha and some great action
Seed is kind of a mess, the first 2 thirds is basically a retread of the original series before going off in its own direction, but it never really finds its feet
Seed Destiny is a disaster, the less said, the better... I didn't watch any anime for a loooooong time after suffering through SD... on the upside, it has some neat mecha designs

those are all the series I've seen in full

    My list:
Mobile Suit Gundam + Movie Trilogy (first movie only)

0083 Stardust Memory + The Last Blitz of Zeon
Zeta Gundam + A New Translation
    Gundam ZZ (episodes 1-4 only)
    Char's Counterattack
    Gundam F91
    Victory Gundam
    G-Saviour
    G Gundam
Gundam Wing + Endless Waltz (OVA + Movie)
    Gundam X
Turn A Gundam (episodes 0-2 only)
    Gundam SEED + Special Edition
Gundam SEED Destiny (episodes 1-35ish only, I lost interest because it sucked so bad)
    Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer
Superior Defender Gundam Force (episodes 1-12 only)
Gundam 00 + Movie: A Wakening of the Trailblazer
    Gundam Age

    Gundam Evolve

My top three favorites are The 08th MS Team, Victory Gundam, and Gundam X.

Origins is going to be done in the same style as Unicorn, we won't be seeing cg humans done in overdone cell shading like they did in ms igloo.
