I've always felt that some of the weapons Transformers come with have been... puny. I've seen in numerous pictures and posts around here that Gundam model weapons have been used with deluxe and voyager class figures and they look phenomenal.

Who can help me determine what scale is needed and I guess where to get some?

    Thanks a lot.

I don't. Collect gundams. Is it possible to buy just the weapons?

I've got no idea. I'm completely uneducated when it comes to Gundam and how the weapons/models/figures work.

I've felt the same way about Alternators. Their weapons are like tiny little pea-shooters. As big as the bots are, they need some serious fire power. I'm considering making some home-made weaponry for my Alternator figures.
My Dad has a huge stock of aluminum tubing from his RC airplane building. Might make a few weapons out of those. Need some big guns and rocket launchers! :D

Best bet is to make them your selves.

Gundam weapons look too...Gundam to me, but having said that I have tried some MSiA weapons on my smaller TFs. There are only HG kits in my house and I don't like the different feel on the plastic so I don't use them.

That's from a MSiA Gouf (not sure which one.)

you can order replacement parts from hlj as well, provided bandai still produces the kits and you know the hlj item number and part numbers from toy's instructions, you have to order the whole tree tho, not really worth the shipping/handling cost unless the toy is the more expensive ones.

Kotobukiya and others sell weapon packs for plastic models (such as kotobukiya's own armored core model kits). Just get those.

Got some right there. The 1/144 scale Gundam weapons fits to deluxe sizes. 1/100 would be a tad too big.
