Suddenly, the cockpit opened to a technician. "Hey, the pilot's still alive in here!" He shouted to a nearby group.
Derrick gave a tired grin as the techs and medics began taking him out of his suit. "I think Paul is gonna be pissed that I ruined all his hard wo-" That was when he noticed his arm. When his suit was hit, the cockpit was nearly completely destroyed. Pieces of equipment were shattered and laying all over the place. All except for two pieces of what looked like metal and glass, that had been embedded into Colton's left arm. It was a grizzly sight, and derrick was none too keen on gore, so he tried his best too look away from his tattered appendage.
The flare generated by the beam saber caught Montblanc's attention. Positioning the DeadEye so as to have clear line of sight against the Gundam, he radioed Galvanis: "Tell me when to engage the Gundam."
"MEDIC!" The technician shouted. Charles chimed up in Montblanc's radio; "Monty, this is the commander's fight."
Galvanis snarled, leaping back to avoid the saber swipe. "Let me get out of your line of fire, and..." the Zaku Infinity leaped up into the air, firing down at the Gundam with its beam rifle. "Now, disable one of its arms!"
The DeadEye's targetting computer locked onto one of Epsilon's arms as the Zaku MS swung its rifle into position. A second later, Montblanc fired a three-round burst at the Gundam.
The A1 moves its head downward, so the shots would damage the rank spike and the armored plating on the top while shielding the camera. Then the larger arms begin to move outwards, pulling on the arms of the Shiner. The Epsilon uses its smaller jets to begin a midair spin allowing it to block the shots with its shield while it swings with its overclocked saber at the Infinity "Cheap shots now?"
The Shiner began trying to maneuver what part of it's arms it could, moving the sabers upward until they could cut through the A1's larger arm units.
Dreigan reached a bit more forward and pressed the button. Self-Destruction Mode activated. Dreigan sighed, "Sorry, commander. I failed..."
"What's going on with that saber?" Galvanis wondered as he swung his own saber in to block. He then received Dreigan's message. "You did well, soldier. One day, we'll meet again in Valhalla."
Dreigan's Zaku exploded, the sheer force of the blast levelling the artificial mountain and breaking a small hole through the Colony's hull. This, of course, would mean that the colony would be depressurized and air would soon be rushing outside. This was bad news. WARNING! Sudden decrease in atmospheric pressure! The Epsilon's online computer announced, Policy for Colony Depressurization is to evacuate the area as quickly as possible! That moron... Charles thought to himself.
As the sabers began to connect to the armatures, James initialized the locking sequence, causing the fingers to grasp on tightly. As soon as the saber cut through, James made the A1 wave as the arms use their thrusts to rocket the Shiner away. "Time to make an exit, but thanks for the battle." As soon as their beams connect, Corey begins to look around for civilians. "Dammit." He motions the Epsilon to push back the Infinity to give space
"Damn it." The pilot said to himself as the Shiner pulled the A1 pieces off of itself and stowed its beam sabers. "Shiner to Unicorn, the Gouf escaped and I've sustained critical damage. Returning to ship."
Fortunately, most of the civilians made it to the shelters in time and the shelters were now ejecting.
"Permission to target the lifeboats, Galvanis?" Montblanc coolly asked his commander, as he traced one of the shelters' fight path.
((Time to bring this back)) The Red Zaku charged at the Epsilon, swinging his heat-axe at the Gundam's back... "You should never take your eyes off the enemy, kid!" Charles shouted.
