First off, and for the folks who remember yours truly, I haven't been around much until the last couple of weeks. I started a business (I'm still in the small business month-to-month part.) and sold almost all of my TFs with the intention of keeping just TWO Transformers.

For better or worse, MP-10 brought me back to defend the jewel of my collection: MP-1! I hope I've been able to do that some in the Cool Stuff thread :)  Unfortunately, along the way, I've been keeping up with TF news. And pictures. And what I've missed the last couple years. And then I start thinking things. Bad things.

    - “What if I get MP-09? As Hot Rod, he fits in great with MP-1.”
    - “I've ALWAYS liked Kup. Maybe just one Generations figure won't hurt.”
    - “I can get iGear's head and trailer with Roller and still won't have as much invested as if I buy an MP-10! Oh! And FansProject has stuff for Megs, too!” (Okay, I probably should get that stuff.)
    - “Why am I using my camera at 1:00 in the morning for taking pictures of toys when I COULD be taking pictures of...never mind.”

And therein lies the problem. If I start thinking like that again, the collection's just gonna balloon! And that'd be bad; as bad as losing the list! (SNL's Grayson Moorhead transcript)

Basically what I'm saying is: “DAMN YOU PLASTIC CRACK; DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!”

*ahem* Well...I feel better :drunk  (Also, the Drunk Smiley rocks!)

    Have fun, all!!!

whats worse is when you think you got a hold of the addiction and start cutting down your credit card bills, it starts back up again and you are buying everything in sight. 11 pm searches on ebay for Henkei, or United are pretty ridiculous when you have them all already.

I took a year and a half hiatus, came back with the intention of just spending a little...yeah that didn't happen this month. I'm also looking forward at everything that's coming out and going, oh god.

the pushers are waiting for you in shady parking lots.

ok maybe you'll just meet some scalpers in the walmart parking lot.

either way they will welcome you with open arms.

Stay away from 3rd party. They turned our plastic crack into that premium blue meth from Breaking Bad.

I've gone past snorting Cyber Keys to melting down and shooting up Energon Stars. Smoking Mini-Cons is a gateway.

Welcome back to the addiction. Once that snowball starts rolling down hill there is no going back.

We honestly need a legit Plastic Anonymous Group.

It's honestly getting as bad as gambling and other such disorders to that effect.

I personally fight urges to buy all the time. but, when your in your house all the time, no social life to speak of, no friends, no car...that seems to be all you got is the damn hobby. :(

I have struggles to buy sometimes, but anytime you're in serious financial troubles because of it, it's no longer a hobby. No fun = no hobby.

Lightweight. My poison of choice is pure, distilled Passion du Plastique, straight from the celebrated, reviled, FansProject underground laboratories.

We're all doomed, but at least we get to pick how we go.
