You know, I was playing Guitar Hero on my 360 and I thought, "If only my guitar would catch on fire and I had to blow on it to put it out."

I hated Battle Mode on Guitar Hero 3.

On Guitar Hero On Tour, it just might make me buy a DS.

On the plus side, the game looks good enough to warrant a buy. Wooo!

 

Y'know, I'm fairly certain the singer was intentionally stupid and annoying if you notice the look the kid gives him the first time he sees him. However, even taking it as a tongue-in-cheek style trailer, it's still not very good.

EDIT: I'm definitely getting the game though.

This hearkens back to the heady days of the late 80's when video game commercials were all about wacky obnoxious terribleness. I half expected him to bust out the Zelda rap.

GH On Tour is just an intrinsically stupid concept. What makes these games fun is the feeling of pretending you're playing a real guitar. Pretending you're playing a real guitar by substituting a guitar shaped controller for a DS with giant buttons strapped on the side and awkwardly scraping the touch pad while hoping your palm doesn't get in the way of the screen with the charts doesn't look like fun to me at all.

 

Nobody should be buying this. I'm ashamed of us all.

The only way that commercial would work is if they had Jack Black singing instead, seeing as how they got Tenacious D on 3.

I'm liking that there is actually a strap on the game though, I was wondering how the hell you were supposed to even have a chance on expert just holding the DS.
