Eh I might of been excited 5 years ago, now not so much it seems like there cashing in with known bands then trying to improve anything (I know its basically an expansion but still)
Don't know why people are saying the Rock Band fans am cry, HMX was given access to Metallica's library so....? Anyways, being done by Neversoft...odds are it won't be quite so much fun to play. I don't mind things being difficult, but as I have said before, there is a difference between something being hard and something being stupid.
No crying here. Never cared for Metallica. Not a fan of their music or that style. Now Aerosmith on the other hand....GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE!
I was listening to the Giant Bombcast on the way to work this morning, and it sounds like the Aerosmith Guitar Hero is going to be a fanboys absoloute heaven. Also, Run from Run D.M.C is playable... as a guitarist! Which is cool because Run D.M.C are fucking rad.
You know, these Guitar Hero special editions seem like The Thing That Should Not Be, but Activision keeps them coming with No Remorse. You can't Escape it, though even if the whole idea is a Bad Seed. Despite the complete Load that was St. Anger I don't treat Metallica like Disposable Heroes; I love the band and I think have seen them in concert over a dozen times. I had sworn I wouldn't get any Guitar Hero "editions" but this One is Metallica. I will probably lose The Struggle Within and buy it. I am a Metallica whore; it's Sad But True.
*sigh* If this had come out a couple years ago I'd have been THRILLED. (Old) Metallica remains my favorite metal band of all time. Now? I'm just a bit guitar heroes out.
I want a damn Guitar Hero: Megadeth Edition!!! But early stuff of course. Why is it that early songs of any band kick ass and their latest music just blows? It's sooo sad. What would be cool is a Guitar Hero : Punk Edition. Gah, that game would kick major ass.
I don't get the people whining about new Metallica, where the hell does anything say that the entire game is "new Metallica", seeing as how their old stuff far out weighs the new stuff in volume, wouldn't it be safe to say that more likely than not that the majority of the stuff will be classic Metallica? DN
This would be an even faster buy than the Metallica one, that's for sure. And while I won't say anything about the aptly titled Abominations, I thought System was a pretty solid cd.
