Guild Wars 2 Leaps Into Action August 28
It finally has a release date!
Can't wait for this!
It looks really good, but I just don't have the time to devote to an MMO.
But, yeah, it does look really good.
Is this free-to-play?
You have to buy the game, but there's no monthly fee.
anyone else playing this? i had the headstart so its pretty cool
ok, For the life of my something very simple is missing me. in the Norn starting area, everyone is running around with a bear or raven or wolf or leopard.....and I've gotten the Totems for all 4 animals, but I have been unable to figure out how people are getting their animal....anyone else playing Norn?
Just bought the Digital Deluxe, downloading now
Hey going to revive this thread to get some opinions about this game. How is it? From the perspective of a player who prefers exploration and just casual gaming, would this game be good?
What are the pros and cons of the game, in your opinion?
Thanks for your help, I'd really appreciate it!
It's very casual friendly, but still has stuff for people that prefer to play a lot.
the game encourages exploration with hidden jumping puzzles, and several points of interest all over tha map that once you get them all in one zone you will get rewards.
It's a good game, bes thing about it is once you pay for it, you never have to spend a dime on it again if you don't want to. They constantly update it, for free, and there is no content barriers like in other FTP games.
Of the FTP games I have on my computer now, DCUO, Marvel Heroes, SWTOR, STO, and Secret World. GW2 is the one that gets the most play.
The Secret World is another good one to try. It's less medevial fantasy, and more modern, horror/conspiracy.
Another really nice thing about the game is that there is no way to kill steal. Everyone gets experience. So it encourages you to help other players fight. There are even world events that will cause players to gather up into an unofficial party to complete the goal.
