    Definitely appears to have a few cues from them

    If you look at his feet and shin guards it looks strikingly similar to TFP Megatron.

    Hopefully we\'ll get to see concept art of all 12 (13?) Guardian Knights, as is the case in the movies generally, we never got a good clear shot of the whole team.

    I have to agree though, this says 'knight' more than 'Transformer' or even 'robot'.

    All of this is like concept art for an amazing d&d transformers table tops game that never was and it makes me want it bad.

    Doubt it, several Knights were just made from mixed reused parts from the other ones.

    There weren't, alas, thirteen unique designs - many of them were doubled up, including this one. You can see it again in the background in the same shot that it's attacking Optimus in the foreground.

    I did a little guide to what knight designs were visible in the trailers a while back:

    "Guardian Knight" was an alternate name for the Knights of Iacon, used repeatedly in the film, it's not this specific guy's name.

    And "Fireblast"? "Hero"? Who are they when they're at home?

    EDIT: Oh, I see, "Hero Knight" is what the concept for the Talisman guy's head was labelled.

    Yeah makes sense given how they were essentially all background characters. Still would've been good to see all the unique designs together, clearly for an appreciable amount of time.
