    Boo hiss!

Not only am I so broke these days I practically live on bread and water for sustenance, but just now I bit down on a sandwich and broke a tooth! :(

I'm just happy it wasn't one of my live teeth, for else I would be in much pain right now. Still going to cost an arm and a leg to fix :(

How it happened? I accidentally bit down on my tongue pin instead of sandwich. Has happened many times before, but this is the first time a tooth actually BROKE because of it and I've had this thing for over a decade. Time for retirement of tongue pin you think?

That really freaking sucks, if it makes you feel any better, I chipped a tooth on a fork once, I also accidentally bite my tongue when eating from time to time - I also often bite the living shit out of my tongue in my sleep (to the point where it bleeds profusely).

My dad once broke his tooth the day before we were gonna get on the airplane to leave the Philippines, luckily it only cost around $80 USD to fix. I'm going through some pain right now with my re-tightened braces. Sorry about the tooth

Time for retirement of tongue pin. Your jewelry is injuring you, and not in any way you might have intended.

I'm glad you didn't break your tooth on a sandwich. I'd hate to think of what a dude or lady would have to do to make their teeth that weak.

I went to the dentist the end of July, my teeth were fine. Two weeks later I eat a sandwich and the side of my wisdom teeth fell out. :(  Luckly no pain.

Yeah, I've done that too, and one of my front teeth to boot. Ended up having to have them all capped.

    :lol

Called the dentist this morning, they'll call me back if there is an opening. They don't have any available appointments until mid-October :(

Luckily it's not one of my front teeth so it's not visible, I can't even see it myself in a mirror no matter how hard I try :lol

And why is it these things only seem to happen on or close to weekends?

I took out 2 teeth with the tongue ring while eating tortilla chips. Lets just say it didn't stay in my mouth long after that.

OUCH! Guess its time to weigh the advantages of a tongue pin against the possiblity of damaging another tooth. Hope its not too expensive.

Take out the tongue pin but pierce something else. You must maintain piercing parity.

Don't worry about fixing it Tricky, broken teeth = street cred, and that's important. You gotta get tough, or "hard" as they would say in the ghetto that I live in.
