How come sometimes, ratchet pulls the lever to the groundbridge and other times the lever goes down by it's self?
Surely if it can go down by it's self, theres no need to pull it ?
    Has any one else noticed?

The lever only goes down by itself when accessed by a human-sized individual. The handle is for practical purposes, but for those too small there's an alternative.

that's because there is a cloaked sith hiding near that lever...he pulls it when no one is around...

It's sorta like those automatic doors with blue buttons near them for people with certain handicaps. They work as normal doors, but there is a button for automatic operation when it's not an option for the individual.

And how come on certain occasions they pull one lever, and on others they pull both?

I'm guessing that pulling both levers allows more power into the system to maintain a Bridge over longer distances. When they prepare to go into space in Darkness Rising part 5 Ratchet appears to pull both levers.

But surely when those doors open automatically, the button doesn't pull in by itself like it was pushed. Why does the lever go down by it's own?
