I figured with said movie coming soon, that this might be a good time to talk about these movies, and there exsistance in todays world. It may sound odd, but the grindhouse movie lives on, and is doing quite well. They may not be in theaters, but I seems to be an advantage in this case. Some recent examples of such movies are Flesh for the Beast, Evil Dead Trap 1&2, and Scarred. Have any of you seen any Grindhouse movies, past or present?

I thought “grindhouse” described a type of movie theater and not so much the movies them selves.

In your quote it also says that it can be a term for the genre of films played there.

Good Lord, I love that sort of movie.

And I'm more excited for Grindhouse than I 've beem for, maybe, any other movie other than Dawn of the Dead 2004 or the original TF movie.

    The entire thing sounds glorious.

I've never heard of any of the films in the OP, but Netflix has several. What makes these different form horror films?

In short, B grade scripts with A-grade tail in the lead rolls.
