    i found animated voyagers grimlock and optimus prime for $28 each...witch 1 ???

    Optimus, especially with the uber Wing Blade armor eventually coming out.

    well ist grimlock really rare...and is the wing blade a add on type thing???...the optimus prime is earth mode 2

    1. Grimlock is a shelfwarmer in my area.

    2. Wing Blade Prime, released next year, comes with the armor set and the Deluxe Earth Optimus with no battle damage.

    Not really. I would 100% go for Prime. But it's up to you, and whichever one you like more.

    I say Grimlock. In my opinion, he's THE best Grimlock, and should be picked up immediatly.

    Anyway, it's your choice.

    Nah, the best Grimlock in my opinion is the Masterpiece. I'd put Animated second though.

    Optimus because of the Wing Blade armor coming out later.
    Then save your money and when the WB armor comes out, get
    Goldfire Grimlock which is a gold repaint of Grimlock.

    Grimlock, definitely Grimlock. Absolutely awesome update of his G1 self (down to an almost identical transformation), while really capturing the unique look of Animated. Good size, decent articulation (better than Prime anyways). Very worth getting.

    Prime is good but..eh, his trailer/weapon is lame. And mine (and from what I understand its a fairly common problem) has very loose pin joints at his shoulders, which can't be fixed (from my understanding, or at least not to someone not really great with that kinda stuff like myself) due to the kind of joint they are, which just causes really lame floppy arms.

    Prime, definitely Prime. Aside from him being the key Autobot, his toy is almost a perfect rendition of how he appears on the show, is a good size, has great articulation, has a pretty neat transformation, and has a cool little faceplate gimmick.

    Grimlock's cool and all, but imo, is also a seriously overrated figure. Very meh transformation, pain in the ass dino legs / robot arms, has the tendency to be loose in areas that need/stay to be connected, and is pretty much useless without the other two Dinobots.
