Greg Rucka Finished At DC, Off Batwoman [Wondercon] - ComicsAlliance | Comics culture, news, humor, commentary, and reviews

I think :cry  sums up my feelings on this quite nicely. I was really loving the Batwoman stuff on Detective, too.

Now watch as our next Batwoman report ends up being "Judd Winick writing new Batwoman series!" :banghead:

All power to the dude, i'd rather see good writers doing thier own thing rather then jobbing on company books with editiorial bullshit hanging over thier head.

Man, that's nuts he was working without an exclusive contract for 3 years. The "getting complacent" comment makes me wonder if there was some executive meddling that contributed to this.

Oh well, he can go to Marvel and start writing one of the Avenger titles now.

No Man's Land is still impossibly amazing. I wish him nothing but the best.

I think that Batwoman is the perfect character for Winick to write considering much of his past work.
