I was reading in wikipedia that Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Flash were all Green Lanterns in some of the Elseworld stories with "Lanternized" versions of their normal costumes. Does anyone know of a website that has pictures of this or has comic scans?

I found one of Superman a while back, but it isn't the greatest view of what the suit looks like, and since reading that I've been curious to what the suits actually look like.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This isn't from any kind of special Elseworlds event. This is from a recent issue of the ongoing series. Hal let Batman try on a power ring for a little while. Bats wasn't able to control it very well.

The comic is Batman: In Darkest Knight. You can read more about it here. I own a copy and took pictures with my Camera phone. I'll post up the Lanternized versions as soon as I get them off.

As I recall, there are about a dozen stories with Superman as a GL.

There was the Clark Kent (Earthling) is rocketed away as a baby to Krypton, where he was raised a criple until he finds a GL ring.

There was the GL story where we learn that Tomar-Re was the GL in Kryptons sector, and tried to save Krypton. We get a brief view of Supes as a GL.

There was a story where some cosmic villain had hooked Superman into a machine, and was exploring various what ifs, and we had Superman as a GL. (As I recall, they were trying to figure out some way to get Superman out of the picture on Earth and still have a complete life.)

There was the story where everyone was a GL.

    Then, we have/had in 52, Clark Kent/GL.

DC likes to give Superman GL Rings.

Don't forget DC 1Million. Supes comes back in the future with the last GL ring.

You can add another Superman GL in the newest GL series... well sort of. Cyborg Superman is using a bunch of power rings and Green Lanterns that Hal supposedly killed when he turned in the Parallax.

My favorite part was Boodika waking up and wondering where the hell her hand went. They all think its just a few moments after Hal messed them up and took their rings, so none of them are too pleased to see him.

Oh and Green Arrow had the ring on for a few moments in Rebirth, nearly killed him.

I believe in the regular DC universe it was revealed that Abin Sur, when looking for a man without fear first offered the ring of power to Clark Kent. I can't remember if Clark turned it down cause he had too much power already, or ifAbin Sur changed his mind. I think this came about after Action Comics went weekly, after #600. I believe this is still cannon, although after Infinite Crisis, I'm not sure.

I did see the Cyborg thing. I seriously hope Dc Direct rereleases Cyborg Superman in those colors in a future Green Lantern wave. I like how much more evil he looks in those colors.

Anyway, I didn't realize Superman was a GL so many times. The picture I had seen was of him in a suit close to his normal one, but with the red replaced with silver(including the cape) and the blue replaces with green. It also had the GL emblem with the "s" inside it instead of the lantern inside his shield like in the lanternized pics.

I do like those too although much simpler than I expected.

    Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure where that comes from, but it's not something I'm familiar with. The way I've always known it is Abin Sur crashed to Earth and was dying, so he had his ring search for a suitable replacement: someone without any fear. The ring found two candidates, Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner. Hal was geographically closer, so he got the ring. I've never heard anything about Clark being considered.

Like I said, I think it was around issue 600 of Action Comics. I have it somewhere in the house. I would have to tear the house looking for it. This was many, many years ago though.
