I'm sure Disney Channel will air a rerun tomorrow, but if you can't wait, someone's probably recorded it and uploaded it to youtube or a similar site.
Spoiler Stan is not what he seems, indeed. Definitely a hell of a way to end a season. It doesn't answer all the big questions, which still leaves mysteries to solve for next season, but still answers and addresses some things. Kinda like Prometheus. It was also pretty intense. Spoiler Gideon went downright insane, and he and Dipper both beat the shit out of each other. It was so, so satisfying to have Gideon finally exposed and his power within Gravity Falls taken away for good, but well, that idiot Sherriff can't do shit. Gideon will break out of jail or escape his broken handcuffs eventually, but his fame and power is gone. Three books, all forming a portal to the unknown. Stan has been planning this for a long time, but what are his intentions? Gideon wanted ultimate power, what does Stan want? I'm getting a vibe of Call of Duty Zombies, where the Aether is sought for its power over the world. Hmm. And what lies there? A demonic being like in Zombies? Something as powerful as the Elder Gods of Cthulu mythos? The possibilities are endless. Also loved the animation in this finale. The soundtrack for the final scene with Stan was incredible too.
Bingo. What a cool episode. Spoiler I was so happy to see the grappling hook show up again. It made me chuckle, as well as the squirrel bath...thing. The whole episode was wonderful. From the guard who labelled his head and chin to the commercial for the "Owl Trowel" it was all hilarious. And that ending. Not only another cameo to the first episode, but a gigantic cliffhanger in the proccess. That portal certainly reminds me of Bill the godly triangle. If there is a better season finale for any other show, I'd like to see it.

I wonder if Spoiler Stan's going to look for his brother. That is literally the ONLY theory that is credible and all but confirmed.
OK, the Gravity falls wiki has some translations from one of the books, confirming Spoiler that the thing Stan has is a wormhole generator that leads to other universes. Also, the code at the end of the episode translates to 'Reverse the Ciphers'. Anyone have any clue what this means?
No, it's using several different ciphers to decode the ending one, it spells out "Search for the blindeye".
