For a G2 Collection. Also I kinda like the "Head canon" idea that at some future point they go for another colour scheme and that they'd hang around with the likes of SoundBlaster in that colour scheme - same is true of DX9's Greyish/black Shockwave. Same reason I get excited when I see a Purple Megatron tank. But then I'd go really nuts if I saw things based on the G2 Gobots/Spychangers decos.

But I think that takes obscure a bit to far for some - I just really like the idea of a post Goldbug sports car Bumblebee in gold or a Blue & yellow Sideswipe.

But yeah in my mind the idea of a Yellow Devastator is to fit with a G2 or Japanese / Euro era collection as some hypothetical shared future beyond Purist G1 ideas.

But yes I'd like a Shattered Glass deco - there is a choice there as you could go for the plain white look the white/red/black look or the blue/red/white deco inspired by Defensor.

I'd be interested to see each vehicle in a slightly different shade like that it would be interesting you'd get a Red Digger say or a White Bulldozer a pale blue Crane and so on. Might turn some people off if it wasn't unified though I guess. But there is no reason they can't just offer a bunch of colour options as with Wei Jiang's Throttlebots.

 

Has someone posted the pic of the combined mode yet? I remember seeing Daim post it awhile back, but forgot about it. Also, if they do release this in that beautiful SG red/white/light blue color scheme, it's an instant buy from me.

 

Only 3 of the figures have officially been released and available for purchase. Any combined picks will likely be the mix with GT figures.

 

It was a 3D rendering showing what would be the final combined colors. I'm still trying to remember where I saw that pic.

 

Need to see the final product combined before I make a final decision to purchase this... or not.

 

The poster for the NBK yellow one shows all of them in some form though the crane one is partially black out in individual form - But they look pretty similar to the original overall. The new one seems to be moving in the direction of being an even closer copy.

Yep. Search for Maketoys Giant KO. It's so exact that the general consensus is that they lunchbox specials moreso than actual KOs.

 

I couldn't find them anywhere except than in stores where they are listed as "sold out". And they're pricey too: 190$ when the original starts from 300€ on ebay (unless the 300€ auctions are KOs sold as originals).

 

They're not pricey as much as the price of Giant has gone down on the aftermarket.

At this point, it would probably be best just to purchase a legit one.

I never like the heads on most Devastators. Combiner Wars being the worst.

 

Why do that when you can find a used real Gravity Builder for $200 shipped. Or, go for the KO at under $100

 

In their defense, that's a particularly bad, blurry, and cutoff shot of CW Devi, not to mention everyone else has a minor pose going on except theirs.

 

I'll gladly buy the KO for under 100, but I couldn't find it anywhere (as for the real one: the least I could find it is €263+29 shipping on ebay).

 

The knock off hasn't been completely released yet. So far, NBK has only released 3 of the figures which could explain why you couldn't find it?

I'm giving serious consideration to picking up one of the 3 which have been released.

Are these guys more geared towards MP or Classics?
