Yeah you got a great deal, Grand Maximus is the rarest of the 3 Fortress Maximus's and can go for some good dough.

That's a steal! Isn't Spike for Fort max still going for $100 alone?

I'm hoping it's legit...as Gran was one of the Headmaster heads to be recently KO'd.

    If it's real...awesome deal.

The low price, coupled with the seller's low feedback, a one-day auction, plus the promise of selling the rest of Grand Maximus in a few weeks (which may be just a ploy to make it seem more legit)...makes me a bit wary.

While it might not apply (I hope) to this seller, I've found quite a few on eBay that neglect to mention that those KO Headmasters are, in fact, KOs...which is a shame because it's very misleading, bordering on fraud.

That said, I do hope it's the real deal.

Check this site out...it shows the difference between the real deals and the KOs (scroll down to Gran/Grand Maximus).:

I can't tell much from the eBay pic regarding the mouth, but that red seems a bit off to me and looks more like the KO on the left in these pics:

Is there a definitive way to tell it apart from the original?

I also messaged the seller asking.

Did you click any of the links I posted? That's about as definitive as it gets, especially the first link that takes you directly to the descriptions/comaparison pics.

Once you have it in hand (if it gets to that point), or get a better-quality picture from the seller, it should be easier as that eBay pic isn't very helpful...you should able to find the tell-tale differences in the mouth, chest details, and everything else, much easier.

Sorry to say but I'm pretty sure its one of the recent KOs. The pentagon shapes on the chest look to have horizontal/flat tops instead of sloped/angled lines.

I would rather spend a hundred on the whole box than half that on one of them. I'm not totally sure what to do...
Do i contact ebay and tell them or just tell the seller i don't want it?
