How much are..or were, in this case..willing to pay? B/c BBTS had all four Japanese tapes up 2-3 weeks ago. Gurafi and Noizu were $250-270ish, definitely well under $300. And Dairu and Zauru were a hair over at $310ish. I dunno how long they were actually up. I saw them..seriously considered plonking down the money for the cheaper pair, and by the next day, all four were sold. I'd hazard a guess that a high-roller bought all four. At any rate, my grails are (surprise) the Japanese cassetes and the remaining four HM heads. Also Jafcon Prime, who I passed up at $100 more than once just after he was released. At the time, $100 meant a lot more than it does now. Now I can drop that much and barely blink. Stupid college expenses getting in the way of my collecting then Two previous grails, Overlord and Raiden, I got thanks to Christmas bonuses when I otherwise wouldn't have been able to spring for them. (Japanese) Overlord's stickers are unapplied, and Raiden is not actually Raiden, but one better IMO, individually boxed Diaclone versions. My experience, you don't see those as often as the Raiden giftset, or even the Diaclone giftset..that and the auction went up two days after I got that bonus, so I jumped on it.

Four star, knock off of devastator called "Mr Hard Hat" Lio Convoy *yes i know it's cheap, but still it is one* Headmaster Hardhead targetmaster triggerhappy hotrod my list is pretty large, actually. but the top two are my most holy of holy grails.
I'm not sure I have a grail anymore.... just figures that I want next. Recently I've been going after G1 MIB/C series two items. Among those I've mostly been on the look out for the deluxe insecticons and autobots (with little luck- only Ransack so far). E-hobby's Diaclone Magnus Grey Astrotrain Twincaster (which should be easy to get, because I'm not waiting around and missing out this time)

Masterpiece Ultra Magnus Micron Legend or Armada black deluxe Optimus BW Transmetal 2 Megatron Robot Masters R-Blade Yamato VF- or YF- 19 G1 (or that thing before G1) red italian or greek tracks, I'll never get it but I like to dream Yeah, I know they aren't that hard to find (except for that tracks), but these are the coolest toys and I just don't have the money for them. Yeah, I jumped to BBTS within an hour of getting the e-mail and it was gone...I posted in MC that I'm willing to pay between $300-$400, I may even go a bit higher if I have to. I figure for one it's worth it to be DONE, and since I've been doing this since day 1, even if I overpay a bit I still made out like a bandit overall (Got pieces like Artfire, Metalhawk and Minelba for $40 each...so I figure it all evens out)
oh yea i guess one of my holy grails is a starsaber/victory saber, but i have the feeling it will be reissued soon, so i fear spending $500 for something that might come out for $100 for the set.
I'de say G1 Fort Max, Victory Saber & Big Powered (Sonic Bomber, Road Fire & Dai Atlas) are my grails. Sadly I don't own any of them. I do have a Star Saber though.

My G1 collection IS my grail, among the rest of the TF's and other toylines I own. Too many grails within to list. ..But the king of all my toys is the Lego Star Destroyer.
