today my fiance and I had our offer for a house accepted! it's less than half a mile from our tiny little apartment where we live now, and was a good price and the interest rates are amazing. but the kicker is that there is tons of space, and I get the third floor which is one room as...my own toy room! it's easily 20x10, so for the first time since I've been collecting, I'll be able to have everything--tfs, joes, mask, he man--all in the same place.

it's gonna be crazy putting it all together, because we're just outside of boston, and most of my stuff is either in my dad's place in florida (I thought I was going to end up living down there years ago and moved most of my collection down there) or at my mom's in NY. but that's ok because they've both never come to see me out here, so they can drive my collection over. I just had to share the good news with people who would be able to appreciate how psyched I am :)

it's a nice feeling isn't it? My wife and I have an apartment and I have my own private toy/collectable room. It's packed to the brim with comic memorabilia, comics, and toys. And my wife knows I need it.

    Congrats dude!
I'm so far off from that (I'm 16 and living in my parents' basement...well at least I'm not 30 in the same situation >>), but I guess a man can dream...a man can dream.../professor

    Congrats!!

I've got a house, but damn kids are taking up too much space. My toys are in plastic tubs.

You should put the kids in the plastic tubs and display the toys in their room

    Problem solved

p.s. grats on the house O.P.

congrats on the new house. i will be looking into a house in the next year...hopefully.

hopefully it will have a big attic that i can finish and turn into a collection room. split it on half. one half for me...the other for the gf (resident evil and procelaine dolls...what a weird combo eh?)

    :lol

Of course I thought of that. I have my priorities right like everyone here. But I was threatened to be kicked out. My toys need roof over their tubs.

ckh, forgot to say (pardon me), looking forward to seeing your Prime and Trainbot collection :)
