    "Okay, so this is now almost released, but at the Game Developers Conference, Sony had a PSP running its GPS package. Interestingly, it perhaps demonstrated the limitations of the system in that the location was kinda but not exactly correct - the booth was underground so we’re guessing not in direct contact with GPS satellites required for a precise fix - the site was Howard Street not Jefferson. However there were a bunch (7) GPS-supporting games that had been released in Japan on view, including Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus & a couple of golf games. (And by the way, the reason you can’t see the GPS top-mounted aerial in the photo is this is a devkit PSP.)"

    I've been thinking about getting a GPS unit - this could be perfect if the price is right.
