I was wonder for those who own a GPS, what current makes or models would you recommend? What I'm looking for:
    -Something easy to use.
    -100% accurate directions.
    -Lifetime free map updates.
-Doesn't loose a signal when I'm on the road.
Any help will be welcomed, and thanks.

My dad used to sell Garmin GPS for a living and he found they were the easiest to use.

As for your other criterias, the 100% accurate directions is impossible to meet for any GPS model, regardless of the brand.

Only time GPS will lose signal as it picks up signal from several sattelites will be in heavy tree areas, like the middle of a forrest

Lifetime map updates, i doubt that exists. Selling maps is a way to make additionnal revenue.

    Can I?

My dad uses a Garmin and considering he doesn't know a thing about technology it must be user friendly.

Nah, I thought the same thing.

Yeah, you're not going to find 100% error free or free updates. Garmin or TomTom are pretty well known and user friendly. I got the Garmin nuvi because I was able to download Bumblebee skins for the cursor. I usually only lose signal in parking garages.

Go down to the gas station & get something that says Grand McNalie (sp?) on it.

That'd be Rand McNally. And they make GPSs too, btw.

Yep, thanks to Razerwire's advice I picked up a Garmin with the lifetime maps & traffic, and dl'd an Optimus truck to show me the way. :D

IIRC, this was the one I ordered.

I believe mine is the nuvi 255wt. It has live traffic updates. That came in really handy last year driving back from SDCC, I was able to avoid a major traffic jam due to a 5-car pileup.
