Alright, I'm really interested in one mainly for the emulation abilities, but I'd like some opinions first. Which model should I get (older joystick or newer d-pad and touchscreen)? Any common issues? Does it pull off emulation well? Is it fairly user-friendly? If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it. :)

Yet again, I feel dumb for asking, but... Wha? What is this? I'm intrigued.

I have heard mixed reviews on it (mainly on sucky battery life and having to use AA batteries) but everything else seems just peachy, I am on the fence as I have been looking at one before they were even released and have always looked very promising but am a skeptic. If you do get it please post impressions and pictures ASAP.

It's not worth it. Just get a psp. It's faster, cheaper and there's more emulation support for it.

EDIT: and there's more user support. I know there's at least three other guys in this forum who are big in the PSP homebrew scene, but ain't nobody got a dang GP2X.

^ Interesting, but that's good, another persuading reason for me to buy a PSP.
