I find due to the size of the box and the carelessness of employees that the boxes are easily wrecked, and then it moves on to clearence.

Hell, when he first came out, I got mine with unicrons head for 20$ less because I took one that was in a rough condition box and asked if I could have a discount because of the condition.

    25$ is a steal though.

    great price! :)

I paid full price for mine with the unicron head, but I might pick up a second one to keep sealed if I could get one on clearance, jsut to have the different packaged variant without the head

    that's very lucky.

Since the Wal-Marts out here independently mark things down, I know I'll never see that price. I shall wait for Target to blow these out for $10 much like Energon Omega Supreme, Energon Omega Sentinel, and the Armada Unicron.

I bought Unicron at full price and kicked myself later cause he was all over for 20 bucks. SO now with the bigger ones I just wait and see if it will clearence. Got Omega Supreme for $20 canadian, and Starscream for $23. I was worried about the Unicron head, but since have bought one off a fellow board member. I'm just waiting for the inevitable price drop. Yeah, I know that is cheap, and Hasbro won't make them if people wait for clearence all the time, but I only bought the 2 on clearence due to the price. So, with my rambling aside, good find!

Remember paying over $100 for the GF version when It first came out. Not complaining though. Well maybe a little now.

I guess it makes sense since our WM's have a bunch of them , and no one's buying them for some reason, (WTF he's awesome) and they take up so much room.
Luckily found one with the Unicron head the other day (thought they were all gone by now) but for reg price

    Nice find.

Those holding out for a redux of the Unicron deep discount situation might want to rethink though before it's too late. Unicron was deeply clearanced because he was MASSIVELY overordered by stores. It wasn't unusual to see 50 or more Unicrons in every store's overstock area. It's rare that I see more than 2-3 Primus toys at a time anywhere. I suspect that situations like this where someone finds Primus on clearance are going to be the exception rather than the rule, and you're definately not going to see $5 Primus toys at Target like you did with Armadacron.

    :)  we shall see.

I'm seeing signs of the Unicron blowout again, but with Primus. At my local Target, there's over 15 on the shelf. 3 on the bottom, another 12 up top.

    I can't wait. I'll break at $20, then buy more for $10.

Sweet! You're not that far from me, so maybe I'll pick another cheap one up! Did you get it at the Gilroy WM...I guess you'd have to have since it's the only one around...road trip? Did they have more?

See I am hoping for this blowout with the King Starscream that TRU has. Our local one has about 20 or more! BUT...NO SIGN YET! GRRR!!!

What I'm also thinking is that they ship them to other stores.

Because, TRU also "HAD" about 25 OTC Millenium Falcons. Now they have 3. They could have moved them to the back room, but who knows. They had reduced some of them to $29.99, but they removed them to sell with the new larger scale SW stuff like the AT-AT.

I agree KidDynamite, I haven't seen stores with more than 3 of these at a time. He was on sale last week @ Target for $43. I would pick one up for $25 liek the creator of this thread.

But who knows whats going to happen!

I found Primus in Turlock and it was the last one and the store is not even close to Gilroy, its pretty damn far. And my local Walmart doesnt have any on clearance.
I use to live in Gilroy (and morgan hill) which was cool cause the San Jose area and bay area so close, now I live in the middle of nowhere.

And just the heads up for everyone, Xmas is coming and Classics are out so all the Cybertron stock will soon be on clearance to replace with the new Classic line.
