Long story, short. I had a 2010 1LT/RS Camaro, and had been wanting to trade it in on a 1SS. Went to my local dealer on Monday traded my LT in and walked out with this fully loaded 2SS/RS. Thank you military discount, Pontiac rebate and thanks to my wife for understanding and telling me to do what I wanted. Needless to say I never thought I would own a 2SS. Let's just say that Evil is a happy Porkchop now. Already got mods planned. The first will be cosmetic, getting Bumblebee style rally stripes and gill inserts added on Wednesday. Then I'll probably get the windows tinted, after that will come a CAI and new exhaust. Anyways onto the pics, and yeah it rained here today. But that just gives me an excuse to clean it up tomorrow.

 

Sweet, I see you came to you senses! My boss has one, gray with Inferno orange ralle stripes and interior accents. I was lucky enough to be the only one to have driven it, what a beast! Congrats!

I wouldn't say I came to my senses. The V-6 is still a kick-ass car (and I'd never knock that car or anyone who drives one), it's just not a V-8 is all. But I will say while I thought my LT was fast, the SS is just on a different level of acceleration.

A definitely agree that the 6 is great for what it can do as far as performance and mileage, but the the 8...now we are comparing apples to oranges.

 

Love those cars. You need to add stripes to it though.  

And figure out a way for it to transform.

Well after having my car for about a week and feeling 'Bee was naked I went and had gloss black rally stripes and gill inserts put on him.
Next up are custom floormats and getting my Bee-otch air-freshener and disco-ball.

 

Right on man. I still am enjoying my 2LT. Even today it was dirty and a couple at In n Out were hovering over it in the parking lot taking pics. I think if I had to do it again though I might have waited and upgraded to what you got.

It's a $1000 rebate so Pontiac (GM) owners buy another GM product. But I am Chevrolet (GM) through and through, already decided the wife's next car will be a new Malibu. That is unless they re-badge the G8 as a Chevy.

 

Actually a dealer computer let slip that there is a Zeta sedan based chevy SS in the works

Nice. I've thought about getting one of those myself, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger. I haven't had to make car payments for six years, and I like that too much to give up.
