Pretty much what the title says... all classes are at 25, and just say max by them, but it's not unlocking Prime so that I can begin re-leveling... can anyone help me out?

Go to Teletraan-1 and there's an option to get into Prime mode. Prime mode is totally optional and you don't have to do it, therefore it doesn't automatically Prime you.

Yea... I just found it, and did it not realizing it reset everything.

... and that's when I retired from playing FOC online.

Yeah, haha. That's why I'm not doing it. It's a useless and meaningless, arbitrary method of progression.

    Doesn't it warn you?

I haven't primed yet in FoC but I'm fairly sure it did in WFC. Thought it was common knowledge that it reset your ranks, it's the equivalent to prestige in Call of Duty. Anyhow, I like resetting my ranks, gives me more to do, more to earn. Re-playability is my bag baby, yeah!

Maybe it's common knowledge to people who play games like COD... but, since this is about the only shooter I play, no I was not familiar.

Oh well. If I didn't have other games to finish, and my fighters like TTT2 to play, I'd be all about doing it again, because it's a fun game, but the reset is a perfect note to take a break from this on.

    Ah, that sucks.

I'm pretty sure in the first game it said WARNING and alerted you and asked if you were sure you wanted to. At least you have other things to do, I'm currently playing Borderlands 2 and going back and forth between the two so when I do Prime I'll be ready to do it again.

Honestly, it very well may have warned me before I confirmed. I don't remember it doing it, but I'm not at all infallible and may have just pressed through it quick out of excitement for continuing on with my leveling.

It's nothing huge, and in hindsight it makes a lot of sense to reset like that. It's just not something I want to be bothered with at the moment with a backlog of games to finish (and really START in the case of Tekken Tag 2). I just hope that when I get back around to it, the community's still active.

Thank you guys for the quick answers. I really do appreciate it.

It's not as useless as COD prestige, atleast in this you get more parts to customize with.

Too bad you couldn't completely level up during the 2x EXP weekend. I was already up to levels 13 -15 across the board before the special weekend expired.

    EDIT:

Resetting levels are stupid. Why is it important to rest everything anyway? Why not leave things as they were or just allow the levels to increase to some unspecified number?

Yeah I have to agree that reseting the levels doesn't seem like a great idea...

    Some people love mindless grinding!

Sadly, I'm not one of them. Hated Prime Mode in the first one, and I'll hate it in this one (once I get to it).

You still keep your unlocked parts, you just have to put them back.

My only problem was forgetting my character names.

On PS3 you only have to remember the first letter and then it will show up in a list of names you've put in before.

Yea dude. I leveled one class up to 25 in a few hours on the double XP weekend, and got really sick so didn't play anymore.

You're the second person to tell me about the 10x weekend, though. That sounds rad, and if they do it again, I'll be on in a heartbeat.

If it's any consolation, in Prime mode you can actually level a bit faster. There are goals and things that are "Prime Only" that give you points. Plus, at least for WFC, they had several "double XP" etc weekends - they already had one for FOC. You could get all your dudes back up to 25 very quickly on one of those weekends. So it's not an entirely lost cause. :)

10X EXP weekends?! That must have been a year and a few months after the release of WFC. Was that HMS' way of getting folks back online? That sounds nuts!
