Did anyone else like or used to love goosebumps?? I was a goosebumps freak lol when i was 10yrs old i still kind of like them but find it more funny. But i remember as a little kid i was really scared, and i read the whole collection of books, im actually suprised how many youtube comments there are. My fav one was "welcome to dead house" and "The haunted mask".

Kids tv shows are so crap nowadays :(  just stupid cartoons.

I loved "Are you afraid of the Dark" as well.

Why cant they do shows like that anymore :(  I hate that they axed it and now they show silly Cramp twins, sponge bob square pants etc!

I loved Goosebumps. Good times. I was too much of a chicken to watch Are You Afraid Of The Dark, though. :lol

I read a few Goosebumps books when they where all the rage (was it like 1996 or so?). I remember one where there was this girl and it turns out that her dad was a PLANT MONSTER!!! Holy crap!

I guess I was too old for Goosebumps at the time (12-13 I think? :lol  ) because my nephews had em, and I read some when I was bored...and they didn't do anything for me. The show was the same way as I had no interest in it. Are You Afraid of the Dark got me a few times though, but that quickly passed too :lol

You didn't ask for a pic for comparison. I am disappointed, maybe Sunstreaker's balls > llamatron's balls after all... :(

Hey. Hey. Hey. Let's not say things we'll regret.

Beachbabe, you should post a picture of yourself with your favourite Goosebumps book. That would be rad.

I remember seeing one that made me laugh my ass off a few years back...the one with the android girls in it had this guy controlling the android girls...and he looked like Gordon Freeman. That, for some reason, was immensely entertaining to me, the first time I saw it.

I'd beg and beg my folks to take me to the bookstore to buy me the latest Goosebumps book. I loved the stories, though the books were very short and simplistic for my reading level at the time. Eventually, I got bored with that series and started enjoying R.L. Stine's other works (The Beast was my favorite).

I also remember the shows, along with Are You Afraid of the Dark...those rocked!

And, yes, other than the new TF Animated, cartoons (and kid shows in general) aren't the same as 10-15 years ago.

I think I actually still have a bunch of my Goosebumps books packed away somewhere. I loved those books as a kid. I watched a few eps of the tv series but I had pretty much grown out of it by that point I think.

My favorites were the crazy summer camp that ended up being on Mars, and the invisibility mirror with the evil twins. Beyond those I don't remember too many of them,

You don't hear to much about RL Stine anymore. I wonder what happened? I use to read all the teenager books he wrote instead of Goosebumps. But the Goosebumps show was awsome. Are You Afraid of the Dark was better in my opinion though, along with Salute your Shorts, and Hey Dude. I gotta you tube this stuff when I get home.
