I needed to take a break from commissions today, and while looking up papercraft stuff, I found one for a 1/1 scale "Copper Bones" skull key from GOONIES. I realized that it was the perfect pattern for a more permanent version, and I cranked this out. It's made from PVC foamboard, layered and relief cut with a utility knife. I cleaned up the edges and details with QuikWood epoxy putty, sanded it and gave it a coat of copper spray paint with a black wash. The color is a little off in the pictures. I tried to correct it, but they still came up too gold. The piece is much browner. I'll give it a better paint job and take clear pictures later. I'm strongly considering casting this if there's a good response. Thanks for looking!
