Paypal sucks, and we all know it. But Paypal's recent fraud against the Regresty charity has tremendous backlash. See their Facebook wall full of angry comments: PayPal - Wall | Facebook

Google Checkout has the exact same seller fees, so is there any reason not to switch? Has anyone used it? Do they have a "gift" option? Anyone know of another alternative?

I'd like to try Google for my Junkion Exchange. Any thoughts or comments from more experienced Google Checkout users would be appreciated!

Honestly, paypal's such a standard, that for simple sending and receiving money, I don't mind it. I'm not going to do something like changing my B/S/T to another payment method, because it's unfair to have people set up and link their funds to something just for me.

Dwolla sounds promising. Have you used it much? How does its dispute and Buyer Protection compare to Paypal's?

I just have my buyers burry the appropriate number of dubloons by the big weepy tree when meeting up in person isn't an option. Seems to be working well so far, so no. This is one thing that I won't be letting Google have a piece of.
