I've been listening to the same half-dozen albums since like 2004: Flogging Molly, Disturbed, Green Day, and The Killers. I'd like to try something new, but I don't really like doing playlists--prefer listening to complete albums. Anybody have any favorites?

    Techno :dj ...

I've used Muse albums (usually BHAR and Absolution), some Queen, Dream Theater (their longest songs can make your runs fly by, if you can endure them) as well as edgier stuff like Children of Bodom, and thrash metal like Megadeth. And once, even video game music.

I guess whatever you like that's fast-paced enough for your running should work, though personally I just put my I-Pod on shuffle and change it whenever I want.

    Some Pearl Jam, Nirvana.

    Maybe some Blues.

Whatever gets you blood/heart pumping, no pun intended.

I second the QOTSA suggestion. If Millionaire doesn't get you running I don't know what will.

YouTube - Arctic Monkeys - Brianstorm

This too. You can imagine he's singing about you or something.

I also use stuff like this to keep my awake on those days.

The New Pearl Jam works very well as a workout album.

DragonForce's 'Inhuman Rampage' album. Keep in step with the beat for all the songs bar 'Trail of Broken Hearts', especially 'Through the Fire and the Flames' and 'Revolution Deathsquad'.
