I want more WfC charactors as toys, so I decided I am going to make some... but I need some ideas for what figures to use for what charactors. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Ebay:
I had planned a WFC Rodimus from a Cybertron Hot Shot/Excellion mold. Even had it primed and started a bit on the head, but then had to shelve it due to a move. Now I may end up using parts on other 'bashes. But it's a good idea for his character, with a few mods here and there to look the part.

I also have a WFC Ultra Magnus in the works. I resculpted Prime's faceplate into an actual face and started the paint work, but he's still in a box in the WIP stage. Another I'm planning is a WFC Motormaster from that same mold. They all kind of share a similar bot-style as that of Optimus (at least in the artwork we've seen).

As for some of the others, maybe you can use Soundwave to do Ironhide or some of the other car types from WFC. Just tossing some ideas out there, man. Good luck with whatever you do!

Brian's spot on, and I think a lot of those Cybertron molds lend themselves well for this sort of thing :)

Thanks for the ideas, but I wish I could find a bulkier figure for Ironhide/Ratchet. I could always make Blaster. I also rather make hot rod from the classics mold; it would be more accurate. Glyph would be easy... Goldbug, too! Reshell a Blurr... Cyclonus... maybe some starwars crossover figs...

The Cybertron Defense moulds would serve you well. CDHS easily works for IH and Ratchet, while CD Scattershot takes care of all your tank-based needs.

I think BM Vehicon molds (or at least parts of them) could also work.

Energon Inferno/Roadblock can work for Ironhide and Ratchet, too.
