I recently noticed that someone got a great deal on a MIB G1 trypticon with a best deal of somwhere around $145.00 on ebay just the other day. It was listed at a 'buy it now' price of $199 and was debating on purchasing it for my own private collection. Where can I find such a deal ?????
This guy will probably just repost it and try to make a profit off of this item. Where as there are people like myself who could enjoy it for many years to come.

Alright dude... i'm gonna call you on this. You've started a few threads about this. Pick one and stick to it!!!!!!!!!!!

Good deals for G1 can be found here in the Junkion Exchange or on eBay (gotta watch and wait).

No stores really have these anymore (20 years old plus). Check Flea Markets, Antique Stores, Collectible Stores, ect.

There is no "old reliable" for boxed G1 TF's. You have to be willing to work hard and put up the money.

This ain't no cheap store hobby!!!

maybe he doesnt have to be a smart ass, but dude, multiple threads do bother most users. might wanna pick up some forum netiquette fast. some tips:
    - post in the correct place.
    - learn to use the search function
    - avoid bumping old threads
    - etc, the forum rules would be a good place to start

anyways, theres no one particular place to acquire g1s. everybody pays their dues by looking at the common places 1st, ebay, online shops, etc.

Sorry to be a "jerk" and yes.... multiple threads by the same person about the same thing does bother me. But, I was new once. I'm still pretty new and still learning some netiquette.

Also, use the search. If you think about asking any questions, use the search first. That usually helps.

    Ebay:
I think finding MIB G1 for cheap online will be a thing of the past for quite a while. They are a high demand item. Most sellers know this. You might get lucky but its going to be a big hunt.
That being said , you might get lucky at Flea Markets , Yard sales, etc. Over the years I managed to get a complete Ratchet MIB for $5 Canadian at a Flea Market, also found a MISB Twin Twist for $20. Also found a MIB Optimus Prime at a comic book shop for $75. Move to Reworks Neighborhood, this guy finds mountains of vintage toys at Flea markets.
