Not bad. 2 years ago they still were 100 to 150 bucks.

I paid $550 for a complete, vintage, diecast-version Predaking with 4/5 boxes a couple months back, so compared to that, I'd say what you paid for the MISB reissue is pretty good. Congrats on snagging one either way, Predaking's a beaut.

The reissue was 185$ retail in japan. Not including importing costs. No one was getting this for 100-150$ ever unless the seller was desperate and misspelled the listing by doing "MISB Predarkong"

So 265$ IMHO is a good deal.

I eventually found one for $280AU (about the same) a couple of months back on the 'Bay, but that was the best I had been able to act on in the time I was looking, so you got a good deal :thumbs2:

Predaking is one of those sets which really feel 'worth the money'

    Ebay:
Nope, bought mine for 100 euro's (150 dollars) at Archonia.com and at the time you could get one from Ebay for 100 to 150 dollars.

It wasn't $185 retail. Maybe at a local store, but most definitly not on Ebay and online stores.

I tried to buy one when they were still in the $150 range. The seller was a scam artist, an I never got it. Now they are much more. Sigh...maybe there will be a re-reissue.

Good price for what's out there now. Predaking is awesome. I purchased mine for $125 a few years back and never opened it. I bought a second set on eBay from various sellers minus some of the weapons. That one I used for display.

I think it was more like 100$ retail. Taostoys were selling them for 150$shipped right after they came out.

So I get him in today, and there is a problem. He was listed MISB in the auction, but the six taped areas looked like the original tape had been slit, and another piece of tape was placed over it. I took very good pics, and opened him up out of worry that there was something wrong with the figure. Everything was there, no stickers applied, but the clear tray had the same taped problem, exactly. Is this common for Japanese reissues, or did the seller try to get over?
