I used to this all the time befor their inter email system. If the seller chooses to accept offer and end auction don't blame the buyer. It's almost like having the best offer feature on a listing.
I don't have a problem with it either. I only have a problem with people that do that with the intention of taking advantage of people that don't know better. Offering what appears to be a good deal to the uneducated because you know the auction will end higher. And I don't think that's what Malach Ra did, he just gave that impression with the way he responded initially.
you'd have a hard time find any new toy representing the original G1 toy and the original cartoon at the same time like these two do. hell, classics is going to have a hard time doing them as good as this if they do them. A couple of guys trolling for some fembots!!!
i dont have a credit card niether do my parents, so ive never gotton to order anyhting off the net but it sounds liek what he did was fair and just and the price was right
If I had to, I would do it. The trick is to pretend you know even less than the seller. It's a matter of survival.
get it before someone else beats you to it, thats what I go by. and if the seller accepts my offer, i'm like hell yeah. its just like making a best offer without the best offer option. talking about low balling, you should see some of the ridiculously low offers I get on my stuff, and I just reject the offer, every seller has the option to do it. so no, i dont see it as taking advantage of people.
I dont see it as bad at all, heck if I could find some sellers who'd take things for less than the market suggests, you better bet I would. The name of the game is win.
I got Ironhide, no problem, but I've been looking for a Ratchet for a while now. Wanted ad, line in my sig, still nothing I knew I should've bought Alphie's at $275 a few months ago.
When I first syarted on Ebay, I would be pulling my hair out at a lot of the auctions I wanted to bid on ending with "Seller ended listing because item is no longer available for sale" What Malach Ra is doing is part of Ebay, Love it--or Leave it, Survival of the Fittest, (my favorite)----Killa-B-Killed.
you gotta look for deals where ever you can find em'. you'd be surprised how many you can find by doing this. gotta be quick on the draw.
