Soon after hearing that Nikelodeon will be both producing and distributing "Transformers the Movie", I began to think what other Nick films we may soon be comparing it too. While it would be unfair to directly judge TFTM to "Good Burger" as Transformers will not be out for another six months, we can observe what made "Good Burger" such a fine film. 1. "Good Burger" provided the Wayans' brothers with a step up in the film industry. While I know TWB (the Wayans' brothers) are often a sore subject among Transformers fans, we can all agree their comedy helps America in times like these. 2. Cameos: Good Burger -> Ben Stiller, George Clinton, Carmen Electra, Shaquille O'Neal, Sinbad. Transformers-> None expected as most of the movie will be CG. (Don't quote me) 3. Production Value: Again it is too early to pass judgement on TFTM but is going to be hard to match the polish director Brian Robins contributed to "Good Burger". In closing I would rate Transformers somewhere in between "Harriet the Spy" and "Rugrats The Movie" if it came out today.
