Hmmmph. This thread offends me. seriously I tried golf years ago, but suffered my worst ever sports replated injury at the driving range, so I switched sports. Although now I'm thinking I might try it again... I used to be able to hit the ball quite far but I tended to slice the ball.
I miss high school. I didn't have a full time job and I could golf my heart out at the relatively local course for $10 in the afternoon. That was back when I was good. *sigh* Now I play but a few times a year. Every year in late July I go to Reno for a three day scramble tourney (and great food, liquor and gambling). Generally I play the two days prior for a whopping 5 days in a row of golf. Best time of the year for me easily. I live less than two miles from a golf course and I don't even get to go!
There are awesome courses in Vegas. Before I had kids, I'd hit up Vegas and Reno four or five times a year and play all the time. (Though not for free...that must have been sweet.) Bear's Best was one of my favorites.
me too. I only get to golf about 5-10 times a year, but I do have my tiny course in the backyard... longest hole is 65 yds.
Campus Golf is the best. I've designed 9 hole courses at two colleges. Anything not grass is a water hazard, and you can only use a tennis ball and a 6 iron.
I was on the golf team my senior year of high school...but we only got to play on three courses. And only one wasn't crap.
Man it's been a wile since I last managed to get out golfing, missed all last summer due to work Awesome pic's though!
Great set of images drippy! Makes me really want to go golfing now. I haven't been able to go in a while. Although I have recently taken up bowling.
